It all started with a fresh look at integrating HR functions and leadership development.

While working in HR management at small and large companies through various stages of growth and restructuring, Anne Laguzza noticed the incredible impact leaders had on the workplace and organization overall purely based on how they treated their employees.

An idea was formed. What if she could not only help leaders navigate employment laws, but also help them build high performing teams through supporting them in becoming the best leader they could be? With the passion to equip leaders with the right tools and incredible support from her network, Anne started The Works Consulting in 2001 and continues to help countless for-profit and nonprofit organizations thrive through integrated human resources, leadership development, and performance coaching solutions.
