Hiring: Outside Candidates or Internal Candidates?

?When was the last time you asked your employees to help you fill your open positions?

?Your best resource for filling open positions are your current team members.

They work with you, know the culture, can speak to the benefits and people love to help solve problems.

?Regardless of who you think they know, ask them for help.

1️⃣Start by creating simple business cards designed for recruiting.

2️⃣Then ask all your employees to hand them out anywhere they meet someone who they think might be a good match.

✅Remember that extra friendly Barista that you met at your coffee shop this morning? You know, the one who provided you with exceptional customer service. Use the business card to let them know that you are hiring.

Even if they aren’t interested, they may know someone who is and in one fast conversation – your team members are spreading the word.

?Hold a team meeting to enlist their support and see how powerful your team really is.

?What other ways have you used to support our recruiting efforts recently?
