For starters, teamwork can help make the dream work, that’s for sure. Let’s take a step back and look at the teamwork aspect for a moment.
One or more individuals play specific and different roles on a team. As a result, leaders assume each player is playing the role they are best at.
One thing that gets overlooked is how to make sure each player is growing in their position.
The dream, vision, and goals of a team and the organization are always changing. As they change, they also become more challenging.
Because of these changes, and challenges, teams must put in a joint effort to improve together and in their roles.
It is easy for someone to get complacent in their position when there is no push to grow. This causes the team to fall into a state of complacency as well.
As a leader, you must continue to balance praising your team for making the dream come true with pushing your team, to make sure you are stretching for the next level of success.
Continue sharing the vision, setting new goals, and pushing as a team to make it happen.
Because teamwork makes the dream work as long as there is a dream to work towards.
