Inclusive or Assumptive?

??‍♀️Inclusive or assumptive?

So many leaders operate with an assumptive approach to their people.

?Instead of approaching their people with an intention of inclusivity.

✅Here is the difference:

– Assumptive leadership excludes their people via under-communicating.
– Inclusive leadership unites their people via thorough communication.

?Notice, this is not over-communicating because that puts fear in people.

?They think they are micro-managing or pestering their people by over-communicating.

1️⃣First of all, the majority of leaders do not need to worry about over-communicating.

2️⃣Second of all, who cares if you get that type of criticism?!

Being told you talk to your people too much about what is going on is almost unheard of.

So today, set yourself apart from the majority of leaders and focus on thorough, inclusive communication.

?Do this, and you will overcome the bias to assume, and become an even better all around leader.
